Las Olas Blvd in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale, is home to a variety of free public events throughout each year. One of them, is Exotics on Las Olas, an impressive auto show for luxury car enthusiasts. The event showcases (and allows enthusiasts to get up close and personal) with some of the most rare and highly sought after cars from all across the globe.
A good number of blocks on the Blvd close down for the event early in the morning to allow for the cars to arrive and position themselves for the day. Then, when the event concludes in late afternoon, the vehicles drive off and the Blvd eventually reopens to vehicular traffic.
With so many restaurants, bars, art galleries, shops and more – All along Las Olas Blvd .. there’s plenty to do before and after the event. Why not make a full day out of it?
Nov 2020 was the third year that this annual event returned to Las Olas Blvd, and a portion of the event’s proceeds were donated to the Wounded Veterans Relief Fund. Automobile brands and models featured include Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bugatti, Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, Porsche, McLaren and more. PRO TIP for 2021 and beyond: Arrive in the morning hours to beat most of the crowds which are typically heaviest during mid to late afternoon.
The world famous Las Olas Blvd is .6 miles southeast of the Brightline train terminal, 4.5 miles east of I-95, 5 miles north of Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport, and 3.8 miles north of Port Everglades and the Broward Convention Center.
