Fort Lauderdale Beach is a world famous destination known for it’s beachfront array of restaurants, shops, outdoor cafes, luxury hotels and entertainment venues which complement the miles of pristine, sandy beaches and crystal clear water. If you’ve cruised in and out of Port Everglades, these are the buildings you’ve seen from the water.
As you proceed north, this is where prominent landmark hotels and attractions are situated – Including the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa, B Ocean Resort (formerly the Sheraton Yankee Clipper), Jungle Queen Riverboat, Bahia Mar and more.
Continuing north and arriving at A1A and Las Olas Boulevard, you’re now at the most heavily trafficked part of Fort Lauderdale Beach known for the dense concentration of restaurants, bars, shops, outdoor cafes and more.
Once you pass this part of the strip, you’ll notice less oceanfront businesses and more mid rise and high rise buildings – A combination of luxury hotels, condominiums and residences. From this location towards the west side of the barrier island (in between the beach and Intracoastal Waterway), there are countless hotels, apartments, homes and condos of all kinds.
